Bizarre

I learned of two freak running accidents today. Maybe you heard about these on the news, too..

The first story is out of Hilton Head, SC. A guy was running on a beach, wearing an iPod when apparently a plane made an emergency landing on the beach. I guess the guy was hit from behind. You can read the full story here:

The other story is about a girl who was out for a run somewhere in Alaska. She was attacked by wolves and mauled to death.

These are two very sad and tragic stories. Being a runner, things like this always catch my eye and it just goes to show that our days really are numbered.

Life is short so make the most of each day..
